Well that certainly falls under the category of cool stuff for dads, especially if you are a Phillies fan! The Philadelphia Phillies are the 2008 World Series Champions - the last time we won was 1980 - 28 years ago (although that too seems like yesterday). The team certainly has many players and coaches you can really cheer for, and in the post game they were very appreciative of the Philadelphia fans - I thought that was great! Just a great time to be a Philadelphia sports fan.

2008 World Series - Philadelphia Phillies vs. Tampa Bay Rays
As a follow up to our last post, it is the Philadelphia Phillies vs. the Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series. We will of course be rooting for the Phils and hoping they will become the 2008 World Series Champions. However it turns out it is sure to be a great series.

Fall also Means Baseball
And let's not forget that Fall means some great baseball too. The playoffs have been a lot of fun so far. And if you happen to be a Phillies fan, they are especially fun because we have just made it into the World Series, a place we have not been for many years. It will be interesting to see who they get matched up against and how they do. We will be rooting for them!!
